Loro Labs Technologies Corporation ("Loro Labs," "we," "our," or "us") is a company registered in the Philippines with its principal office at 27th Floor IBM Plaza Building, 8 Eastwood Avenue, Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave, Quezon City, 1110. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you interact with any of our services, including:

  • The lorolabs.ai website and any inquiry or contact forms therein
  • The Loro AI: English Learning mobile application
  • Any custom web development, platform, or consulting services we provide to clients

Information We Collect via Our Website

When you visit lorolabs.ai or submit an inquiry through our contact form or quote modal, we collect the following information:

  • Project details — project type, budget range, and any message or description you include in your inquiry
  • Technical data — your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited, collected automatically through server logs and analytics
  • Cookies and similar technologies — we may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to remember preferences, understand usage patterns, and improve site performance. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings

We do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies on our website. Any analytics data collected is used solely to understand how visitors interact with our site and to improve the user experience.

How We Use Website Data

Information collected through our website is used to:

  • Schedule discovery calls and communicate about potential or active projects
  • Send project proposals, contracts, invoices, and related business correspondence

We will not use your inquiry data for unsolicited marketing. If you submit a quote request, we will contact you only in relation to that inquiry unless you explicitly opt in to receive updates or newsletters.

Client Project Data

When you engage Loro Labs for web development, platform development, or consulting services, we may collect and process additional information as part of the project, including:

  • Business information such as company registration details, brand assets, content, and credentials for third-party services (hosting, domain registrars, APIs)
  • Access credentials provided for the purpose of development, deployment, or maintenance of your project
  • Communications and files exchanged during the project lifecycle

All client project data is treated as confidential. We do not share, sell, or disclose client project data to any third party except as necessary to deliver the agreed services (e.g., deploying to your hosting provider). Access credentials are stored securely and deleted upon project completion unless a maintenance agreement is in place.

Information We Collect via the Loro AI App

When you create an account using your email address, Google, or Apple ID, we collect basic profile information such as your name, email address, and login credentials. We also collect data about how you use the app, including session times, device type, language settings, and app version, to improve performance and provide support.

When you interact with AI features—such as answering prompts or receiving pronunciation feedback—your input may be analyzed to generate responses or corrections. These interactions are processed in real time and not permanently stored. No voice recordings, images, or location data are collected or saved. Your learning progress may be stored using Firebase, a secure third-party cloud platform.

For users on the free plan, we may display ads using third-party ad providers like Google AdMob. These services may collect advertising identifiers, approximate location data (e.g., region or city), and device information to serve personalized or contextual ads. You can manage ad personalization settings through your device preferences.

If you subscribe to the paid version, your payment and subscription data are processed through Apple or Google. We do not have access to your credit card details; we only receive confirmation of payment and basic transaction information necessary to manage your subscription.

We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13 years old, and the App is not intended for use by children below this age. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

How We Use App Data

We use your information to deliver app features, improve the learning experience, provide personalized AI feedback, offer customer support, process payments, and comply with legal obligations. We may also use de-identified or aggregated data to understand usage trends and improve our services.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the App—such as Firebase for hosting and analytics, or ad networks for the free version. These partners are required to safeguard your data and act only on our instructions.

Email Communications

When you submit an inquiry through our website, you will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt. This is a transactional email directly related to your request, not marketing. We use SendGrid, a third-party email delivery service, to send these communications. SendGrid processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering our messages and is bound by its own privacy and security obligations.

We do not add you to any mailing list or send promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in to receive them.

Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We may share your data with the following categories of third-party service providers, strictly for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Hosting providers — Hostinger (website hosting), Firebase (app backend and analytics)
  • Email delivery — SendGrid (transactional emails)
  • Advertising — Google AdMob (free app version only)
  • Payment processing — Apple App Store, Google Play Store (app subscriptions only)
  • Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage data to improve our services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and process it only according to our instructions.

International Data Transfers

As our service providers operate globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. When such transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections, to maintain the security and confidentiality of your data.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements

We are committed to complying with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (DPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws.

Security and Data Retention

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure cloud storage, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information. While no system can guarantee absolute security, we continuously update our practices to reduce risks.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to deliver our services, fulfill legal obligations, and resolve disputes:

  • Website inquiries — retained for up to 24 months after the last communication, then permanently deleted
  • Client project data — retained for the duration of the project plus 12 months for support purposes, unless a maintenance agreement extends this period
  • App user data — deleted after 24 months of account inactivity
  • Deleted accounts — permanently removed within 30 days, with backups cleared within 90 days

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be posted on our website and, where applicable, within the App, with at least 30 days' notice before they take effect. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
